Today, Michela gave me the best gift, by way of an e-mail.
She told me that she had recently babysat Colum, a friend of Kai and Amélie's (the children for whom I've been nanny for the past two summers). Kai and Amélie came to play, and they made me two surprises.
The first surprise, Michela said, is in the mail. The second is this video (if you listen well, Amélie kills the secret of the second surprise, though I'll be no less excited to receive it):
I watched the video immediately and sobbed the happiest tears. I grabbed my laptop and hurried to Colin's door, where, upon seeing my tears, he asked me worriedly what was the matter until I made him watch it with me. I cried again.
Thanks, Michela. It made not only my day, as you suggested with your subject line "Happy Saturday!", but my whole week.
